Spiral Descent

from $80.00

What I See

A black-and-white concrete ramp curves around a bright central pier. Stains, joints, and changing shadows reveal the mass of the structure even as its repeating spiral creates a strong optical pull.

What I Like About It

I am drawn to the contradiction between movement and weight. The ramp appears to rotate around the center, but every weathered surface reminds me that the motion is entirely an effect of viewpoint.
