What I See

A vaulted stone corridor recedes through repeating pointed arches, while window light falls across the floor in a sequence of bright rectangles. In black and white, the masonry, ribs, columns, and shadowed doorway become a study in depth, rhythm, and tonal contrast.

What I Like About It

I am drawn to the way the architecture measures distance twice: first through the arches, then through the bands of light. The corridor feels ordered but not static, with each bright interval pulling my eye farther into the darker end of the frame.
