Pink Flamingo

from $80.00

What I See

Balconies repeat across a brick facade, each level held inside a strict architectural grid. Leaves press in from the edges and soften the pattern, while the rounded railings and small shifts in color keep the building from becoming purely geometric. I find myself searching for what separates the balconies and quickly it feels like a game of Finding Waldo.

What I Like About It

I like the quiet disagreement between the structure and the foliage. The facade tries to impose order, but the trees keep interrupting it, giving the photograph a balance of precision and unruly life.
