Layers of Firenze

from $80.00

What I See

Florence rises in vertical layers: shadowed arches at street level, ochre apartments and tiled roofs through the middle, then Giotto's Campanile and the red dome of Santa Maria del Fiore above. Late light separates each band without flattening the density of the city.

What I Like About It

I like seeing the Duomo embedded in everyday architecture rather than isolated from it. Shutters, windows, rooftop additions, and uneven facades give the landmark context, making the historic skyline feel inhabited and still actively becoming itself.
