The forest seemed to open from within as the last light of the day found a narrow path through the trees. Instead of holding the camera still, I let it move with that sudden burst. Trunks, branches, and sunlight stretched outward together until the familiar woods became an invitation into something less certain and more luminous.

What stayed with me was the feeling of looking through the forest rather than simply standing inside it. The bright center pulls the eye forward, while the darker edges hold onto the weight and texture of the trees. The photograph became a threshold between what can be seen clearly and what waits just beyond it.

Beyond belongs to the Lightstreaks collection, an ongoing study of how movement, time, and available light can reshape familiar places.
